Banks are open Mon.-Fri. 10am to 4pm ( except on Thursday when it opens until 5pm.). ATM facilities are available are many branches throughout the city.

Most post offices are open Mon.-Fri. 9.30pm to 6pm. The G.P.O. O'Connell Street, is open Mon.-Sat. 8am-8pm, Sun and Bank Hols. 10.30am-6.30pm.
