The National Museum of Ireland - Archaeology and History
The National Museum of Irealnd - Archaeology and History is home to the Irish Antiquities Division of the National Museum. This division is responsible for the portable archaeological heritage of Ireland. In addition to managing the archaeological collections the staff are also charged with caring for the substantial Ethnographical, Classical and Egyptian collections.
How to get there:
Buses: 7, 7A, 10, 11, 13 (O.Connell Street)
Dublin City 'Hop on Hop Off' Bus Tours, have a drop off and pick up stop at our three sites in Dublin.
You can also avail of the Museum Link (172) operated by Dublin Bus, which also has a drop off and pick up stop at the three Dublin sites.
Opening hours:
Monday Closed
Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 5pm
Sunday 2pm - 5pm
Closed Mondays, Christmas Day and Good Friday.
